The Home & Away Collective provides tailored, locally grounded support to help university students move through transitions with ease—while offering their families a quiet sense of reassurance. Services include streamlined move-out and storage coordination, ship-and-store options for dorm essentials, and, beginning Summer/Fall 2026, personalized concierge and local advocacy support. The Collective will also introduce simple, meaningful “home away from home” touchpoints designed to create comfort, connection, and a sense of belonging—with more to come as it grows.

Storage & Transition Support
A streamlined, flat-rate solution that combines storage with coordination and communication—removing uncertainty during move-outs, summer transitions, and academic term changes. Ability to ship and store packages (no large furniture) as needed, especially during summer months leading up to Fall move-in.
Local Advocacy & Concierge Service Packages (Launching Summer 2026)
A trusted, on-the-ground presence in the Seattle area offering responsive support, clear communication, and thoughtful advocacy aligned with each family’s preferences.
“Home Away from Home” Experiences (Launching Fall 2026)
Occasional, carefully curated gatherings and touchpoints—such as home-cooked meals, fireside evenings, or supportive check-ins during high-stress moments—designed to foster comfort, belonging, and connection.

Current Services
Move Out & Storage
We will pick up your items directly from your dorm or apartment. Example of items include boxes, bins (w/lids), moving bags, lamps, packed laundry baskets, small shelves, and storage crates. Items will be stored in a secure, indoor climate controlled facility in Sammamish, WA which is located 25 minutes from campus (Eastside of Seattle). No large furniture. All items must be ready to pick up (packing services not included). $100 deposit required to reserve date/time. You pick up your items based on your schedule..

Move Out & Summer Storage (+ Curbside Delivery)
Pick up directly from your dorm or apartment and curbside delivery based on your schedule. Ship & Store + Curbside Delivery
Take the hassle of out of moving-in and trying to bring all your things with you. Avoid the stress of shopping while you’re also trying to move in. You can ship all of your student’s dorm room supplies to our home located in Sammamish, WA for a flat fee/client (additional fees apply beyond 15 packages). We will store in a secure, safe location until you come pick your items up this Fall (September 2026) at an agreed upon date and time. You pick up your items Fall 2026.
